A fair model usually ties the agency to revenue (or a clear retainer with deliverables). If you are offered both a seat fee and a high % for the same promise — you are paying double margin. No serious agency knows your tone, boundaries, and channels before an audit — so a fixed dollar promise “for everyone” without a discovery call is marketing, not ops. Treat cases with screenshots as order-of-magnitude, not a promise. If a “guarantee” is in the contract without entry conditions (content, publicity, budget) — read the fine print on penalties and exclusivity.
